Meet the Teams

Thank you to the following teams for their participation in the Corporate Cup crew races at Windermere Summer Splash. It should be an event to remember as the novice crews battle to take home the 2015 Corporate Cup trophy.

Team entry fees will be matched by the Windermere Foundation ($1,500 per team) to provide free boating programs for low-income youth.

We look forward to cheering you all on at Green Lake on Saturday, August 15. Corporate Cup races will take place from  11:45 am- 1:30 pm. Best of luck!

Ladies who Launch

Team Philosophy: "Well behaved women seldom make history."

Team Members: Anne Chapman, Erin O'Connell, Amanda Knight, Kelly Hipchen, Tamara McCann, Amanda Course

The Bull Market Bunch

Team Philosophy: "If you think we handle a boat well, you should see how we handle your money!"

Team Members:

Michael Greene:
Height: 6’5
Reach: 79’’
In the words of the CEO “Michael is a stud” in every aspect of the word. His lack luster excitement about his nomination to Team Highland is just a small taste of the confidence he carries about his ability to row in a competitive setting.

Nemanja “the Tree” Grujicic:
Height: 6’7
Reach: 83’’
He is often confused with being the boat due to his tall yet lean stature. As an intern at Highland Nemanja is “looking to earn his place in the highland culture” and plans to use this opportunity to show his stuff.

Ronnie Hastie III:
Height: 5’11
Reach: average
What he lacks in height and reach he makes up for in hard work and rationalization. He has been quoted saying “somebody needs to balance out the center of gravity (due to the surrounding height) in the boat.” I am confident that this is a good role for the young up and comer.

Colleen Kroeger:
Height: 5’11
Reach: Unknown
As a team we are hoping to build off of one year of experience (15 years ago). Colleen’s ability to dust off the oar and get back in the rhythm of the sport is the lynch pin for the success of team Highland.

Trevor Christianson:
Height: 5’11
Reach: 77’’
Confidence is no stranger to this member of the Highland team. Regardless of actual skill, his ability to convey athleticism is going to be key in our all to important intimidation strategy.

John Christianson:
Height: 5’11
Reach: Unknown
Hailing from Iceland John is the definition of an aquatic specimen. Not only does he have the knowledge for what it take to win the gold, his foresight and dreamer personality has given him the “been there done that mentality”
